Our Vision: Preserving the Past to Create a Foundation for our Future

We are embracing a vision for the ministry and mission of our church!  The vision includes:

  • Positioning ourselves in service to the people of the Newbury area by renovating our facilities to be more useful for community activities and outside organizations.

  • Collaborating with the town and local community organizations to serve as a true community center.

  • Stabilizing and preserving our two buildings, honoring best practices for historic preservation

  • Removing the current kitchen and restroom to increase space for programs and activities.

  • Enhancing the sanctuary interior with better lighting and  new carpeting.

  • Drilling a well and installing a new septic system.

  • Creating a new parking area.

The total anticipated goal for a capital campaign is $474000.
